Between our ongoing work with ChoiceCuts and The Sugar Club and various other venues, artists and promoters we do a lot of music posters. Here is a selection from 2012-2015. We also sell posters in our shop, but if you see something here that is not stocked in our shop mail us and we'll see what we can do!
ChoiceCuts put on a couple of shows with the one and only supervillain DOOM so we had the pleasure of designing posters for each one. For the first gig we made a collage of the Mask featuring infamous villains including Dillinger, Pablo Escobar, OJ and Al Capone. The second show featured comic book cover inspired artwork that we gave out free to the first 100 lucky ticketholders to ask. Both posters are now available to buy in our store
Logo of the infamous Symbionese Liberation Army, the seven headed cobra is in fact 170,000 years old, and it is one of the first symbols used by people to signify god and life. The two bottom heads on each side of the Cobra represent the four principles of life: the sun, the moon, the earth, and the water. The three center heads represent god and the universe, and are called the god head.
Stick it to the capitalist imperial pigs by treating yourself to a bougie embroidered tee in our store.
We were delighted to work with the Feminist Film Festival again in 2015. The festival was set up to help counteract the misrepresentation and narrow range of women portrayed through stereotypical female characters and in two-dimensional roles and expose audiences to a broader scope than those often found in mainstream cinema. The event is run entirely by a small team of volunteers and is totally independent. All proceeds go to Nepalese women's charity Sasane

Festival poster design for Pray For Our Sinners, PRAY FOR OUR SINNERS, a powerful film by Sinead O Shea which documents the filmmaker’s return to her hometown in Navan in search of those who fought against the Catholic Church and discovers the ways in which local people found a way to resist. It is a film of unexpected twists as it chooses to shine a light on those who attempted to stand up to the church in a quiet but deeply moving resistance.

Dublin’s first Japanese restaurant, Yamamori, is well known for their high quality food and service. Tengu is their hidden gem at the back of Yamamori Sushi. A beautiful bar and venue inspired by the Japanese folk legend, the historical Tengu mask maintains a watchful eye on all who enter... We designed the Logo and Identity and handle ongoing design and social media work.

Our posters for the Beck's Rhythm Series 2015 saw a departure from the previous years building blocks and an attempt to represent each act with a simple visually rhythmic illustration. If the amount of posters stolen from the venue at each show is a mark of success then we nailed it.
Sleeve artwork designed for habitual spell-check dodger Knxwledge.
This great film explores the life and music of New Orleans piano legend James Booker, the man Dr. John described as “the best black, gay, one-eyed junkie piano genius New Orleans has ever produced.” As huge Booker fans we were delighted to design the poster and website. We also got to put together a Booker mixtape for the uninitiated.
We work closely with Yamamori, Dublin's original Japanese restaurant, producing all of their menus, advertisments and marketing materials, website and social media elements.

During summer 2015 we toured with Madlib aka Malik Flavors aka Monk Hughes aka Quasimoto aka Madvillain aka Tha Beat Conductor... The tour closed with the Madlib Carnival (Thanks to Daily Laurel for the photos) at the Outlook Festival in Croatia featuring J.Rocc, Pete Rock and Moodymann. Ooo-weee!
Did Madlib kill it? Yes. Did the crowd lose their shit? Yes. Did we remember to bring a camera to record any of our visuals? No.
The Cyclist project is “an attempt to get to a time in electronic music, where everything sounds warmer... This needed to be done and needs to be done more. let’s call it Tape Throb for now.” Our design references the rave culture The Cyclist is taking his music from/towards and the sci-fi aesthetics of films like Saul Bass' masterpiece Phase IV and the nightmare inducing Beyond the Black Rainbow. Flourish was released on All City Records in 2014.

A global record store locator. By canvassing the many DJs and collectors we know and work with and by bending the Google Maps API to our will we are compiling a map of the best digging spots in the world. Work in progress.
We were honoured to work on this 12 track spiritual, deep jazz LP from Parisian producer Onra and fellow producer, composer and arranger Buddy Sativa. We got to introduce the artists to the late Mati Klarwein's son at our Mati exhibition in Dublin, a meeting which led to us using a detail of Mati's painting "Conceptual Tree" on the cover of this heavy tip on sleeve.
We created a template for all of Major Problems Records releases, with all meta info on side A and a guest artist featured on side B. Heres the first few...
Poster designed for the launch of The Animators Drawn Together LP. A group of artists and designers were invited to produce an illustration based on a track from the album. We were assigned the opening track The Beginning. We took the infamous New York City blackout of the summer of '77, cited by many to be the birth night of Hip-Hop.
Four lightning strikes hit the city taking out power stations and resulting in full blackout - cue manic bouts of partying, rioting and looting. The story goes that so much musical equipment was 'liberated' (and later sold cheap in pawn brokers or the streets) the city was flooded with DJs, contributing to the birth of hip hop.
